About This Event

Harvesting Harmony is a tranquil sound bath event scheduled for August 23rd at St Anne's Church in Edinburgh. This wellness-focused evening will feature various instruments including monolinis, Native American flutes, Tibetan bowls, and crystals, offering attendees an opportunity to harmonize their minds and bodies as the summer draws to a close.

A reflective end of summer sound bath with monolini, Native American flute, Tibetan and crystal bowls and more.

A sound bath can help to restore the natural balance in your body, mind and soul by activating your body's own natural healing process. The vibrations of sound played at certain frequencies can help to reduce stress, improve concentration and focus, support the immune system, lower blood pressure and improve sleep at night.

Continuing a series of seasonal sound baths, this session acts as a reflective pause towards the end of summer to notice your own personal harvests and abundance this year, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem.

I will guide you into the sound session with a meditation, breathing and affirmations, to help you connect with your own inner wisdom, before journeying through calming sounds.

You may choose to be seated in a chair or lying down on an inflatable mat (1 inch thick) on the floor. You are encouraged to experience the session in the most comfortable position for you. Please bring your own pillow or cushion to ensure your maximum comfort. Some cushions and blankets will also be provided.

There are several zero-gravity recliner chairs available for each session if you would prefer not to be on a mat (support weight up to 110kg). Please let me know in advance by email elspeth@pausetobe.co.uk if you would like to use one (available on a first-come, first served basis).

Tea and refreshments will be offered at the end of the session and are included in your ticket.

*Please also note that this event is not suitable for anyone in their first trimester of pregnancy, or those with sound induced epilepsy, unmanaged bipolar or psychosis. Participants should not attend if they are under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. Please advise me if you have any of the following: stent, shunt, pacemaker, metal implant or nerve damage, so that I can ensure you aren't too close to the sound (guidance is 20cm)*

Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person for the same session.
