With live storytelling, music, song and performance, join the Scottish Storytelling Centre for their quarterly series of full-moon celebrations. Following the Celtic Wheel of the Year (the quarterly seasons of Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhuinn) this session looks at moon myths, lunar legends and cross-cultural stories, revealing themes of creation, fertility, cosmic joy, transformation, death and rebirth. The first half of the evening is a performance in the Netherbow Theatre, followed by a social event upstairs in the Storytelling Court. Moonspinners is suitable for those aged 14+ years. There is level access to all spaces within the Scottish Storytelling Centre, including the theatre. The venue is wheelchair friendly, with accessible toilets.
