Discover one of Scotland's hidden treasures and spend a day exploring Scotland's most breathtaking destinations on the east coast. Dunnottar Castle is on everyone's bucket list who visits Scotland and it's also Student Tours' favourite tour. It was voted as Scotland's nominee to the 8th Wonder of World Competition and was also the inspiration for the beautiful castle setting in Disney Pixar’s animated film, Brave and Frankenstein (starring Daniel Radcliffe)! This tour also includes visiting Aberdeen.

We’ll enjoy scenic walks around Dunnottar, where the magical coastal views and towering sea cliffs will leave you in awe. You’ll also visit the charming fishing town of Stonehaven, known for its picturesque harbour, seaside charm, and delicious ice cream! As one of our most popular tours, this East Coast adventure is packed with incredible sights and experiences and it’s one you absolutely can't miss!

Lunch / Things to bring with you

There will be time for a lunch break in restaurants, however, you can also bring your own packed lunch. Bring with you lots of smiles, a camera, warm clothes, proper walking / hiking shoes, an ID, a bottle of water and snacks. We will also have tea/coffee and toilet breaks throughout the journey.

Notes & Terms

Tickets are very limited and available based on first come, first served.

Tickets are non-refundable if you miss the tour for any reason.

If you can no longer attend, you may sell your ticket to others, however, you must notify International Student Tours in advance for check in purposes.

You will receive a reminder email with details and updates a few days prior to departure.

Our tours are open to everyone aged 18 and over, including adult students, professionals, visitors, and tourists. If you wish to book tickets for minors, you must contact us in advance.
