About This Event

Lauriston Castle in Edinburgh will host a Witches and Wizards Family Workshop, encouraging participants to dress up and engage in potion-making and spell-casting activities. The workshop takes place on 24 October 2026.

We encourage you to come dressed up and ready for action as we put you through your paces making potions and casting spells. What is most devilish spell you can think of? If you could create a potion to do anything what would it be? Make a witch or wizard hat, and listen to some tales of magical mischief. All our pre-booked family craft workshops are family learning experiences and designed around the whole family working together. This workshop is suitable for ages 5+. Children must be accompanied by paying adults. With Lauriston Castle staff.
