Starting at the old well outside Moubray House/John Knox House, Ruth will take you up along the high street, weaving in and out of closes and alleyways, to finish near St Giles Cathedral, explaining not just the history of Edinburgh but also highlighting women from the past, from the well-known to what life was like for those who left no record in history.
The tour will take one hour in total, and will be outside with no shelter so please wrap up according to the weather conditions! There will be no toilet stops or seats along the way.

Please meet at the old well (show in the photo of the event) outside John Knox House/Moubray House clothing shop15 minutes before the tour is due to start.
