Jim will describe an alternative history for this iconic yet often misunderstood species and presents a case for the return of these top predators to Scotland. Select a 'plus book' ticket to pre-order a copy of The Last Wolf (paperback) for collection at the Scottish Storytelling Centre on Saturday 3 October. Part of the Scottish Wildlife Trust's Words of the Wild Book Festival, 29 Sep - 3 Oct 2026. Join us throughout the day for more author talks as well as workshops, family-friendly activities and book signings. For a full list of events visit scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk. Our event will take place in the Scottish Storytelling Centre's Netherbow Theatre. Seating is unreserved. The Scottish Storytelling Centre is fully wheelchair accessible, with lift access.
