Ideas and Inspiration

This Creative Writing course is run over four weeks and is designed for people to have a go at writing in a safe and relaxed space. Its an ideal course for people new to Creative Writing and for those who wish to return.

The emphasis is on enjoyment and on using the prompts and ideas to try different ideas around writing. Learners are encouraged to share their ideas with the group if they feel comfortable.

Creative Writing is an excellent way to focus on yourself, meet other people and have some laughs along the way!

Whether you choose to write fiction or fact, the style in which you express yourself says so much about you.

Writing is an excellent support for wellbeing as you can express thoughts and feelings and then choose to share with others if you feel this would be beneficial.

Venue

This course takes place at the Parish Room at St David's Church, off Queen's Terrace.

Times and Attendance

Class takes place Tuesdays from September 22nd - October 13th

We start at 10:00am and finish at 12:30. There will be a break with free tea and coffee provided.

You will be required to complete an Exeter College Registration Form at the first session.

Commitment: we ask that learners try to commit to the full 4-week course to enable everyone to get the most from the sessions.

Courses are popular and we run a waiting list on our Eventbrite courses, please cancel your place on Eventbrite or advise us if you are no longer able to attend the course so we can offer your place to somebody else. Should we not hear from you, we will release your ticket to the waitlist in week 2 of the course.
