5 Week Course
6.30pm -8.30pm
This 5 week introduction course will take you through the whole process of making your first ceramic pieces using the potters wheel including throwing, trimming, handle making and glazing.
Suitable for complete beginners and those who have perhaps attended a taster session and are now keen to learn more. This course will help you use the wheel and tools confidently and safely. You can expect to make a selection of small cylinder and bowl shapes as a beginner.
The class is limited in size so you are sure to get a lot of individual support from the tutor to help you progress through the lessons. It will also set you up nicely for using a studio independently if you would like to continue practicing after the course or for further learning on an improvers course.
Each week consists of a 1hr 40min lesson with 20minutes reserved at the end for cleaning up.
At the end of the course your pots will be fired a final time and ready for collection approx 2 weeks later.
