Pottery open studio sessions are for anyone who wants to play and practice with clay in a relaxed, social environment. No experience is needed but this is not a class and the sessions are untaught. You are expected to be able to work independently but there will be an experienced potter to welcome you to the studio and offer support. We have a small collection of pottery books & magazines for inspiration. You will have access to all of our ceramics equipment, tools and materials including clay, slips, underglazes and glazes. You can use as much of our studio clay to practice with as you like and will only be charged for any pieces you choose to keep and fire in the kiln. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult, you must book spaces for everyone attending as we are a small studio and need to carefully manage numbers in the space.
