2x nights of short films shot on alternative/obsolete media by local and international experimental/underground filmmakers.

DV8 Film is proud to present the DV8 Obsolete Media Showcase, taking place over 2 nights at The Community Cinema at The Pyramid at Anderston.

Over the last few months, filmmakers from Scotland and across the borders have sent in their short films made on everything from broken video cameras to Xbox Kinects.

I'm delighted to present the selected films across two nights at a larger, more accessible venue than the usual DV8 spot.

This is a one-of-a-kind event that has been a joy to put together and spans an enormous array of genres and tones, from fully experimental cinema to cyberpunk-inspired visions of the future.
