About This Event

Join us for food, a screening of Everybody to Kenmure Street followed by a fun Q&A session! Film Screening and Q&A: Everybody to Kenmure Street Neighbours and activists rush to surround an immigration van detaining two residents in Scotland’s most diverse community. Everybody to Kenmure Street is an intense, ground-level, and ultimately joyous account of the standoff with the police and the UK Home Office. Our film celebrates collective action, looking to the stories that led to that day and the historic events that have shaped this community. This is a fundraising event, raising funds for Central and West Integration Network, who are based locally in Garnethill, and Stand Up to Racism Glasgow hosted in partnership with GSOA Community Engagement anf GSOA Sustainability.
