Set in a once thriving mining village in the North East of England, the film follows TJ, the landlord struggling to keep the last pub in town afloat, as the arrival of Syrian refugees stirs up old tensions and new possibilities. It's a quietly moving story about two communities, both a bit broken, finding their way towards each other.
