About This Event

The Merrylee Plotholders Association Allotment Open Day takes place in Glasgow South Side. Visitors can meet plotholders and visit a hot soup stall.

This is an opportunity to have a fun day out, meet the plotholders and see what we get up to 'down the plot'. There is a hot soup stall and a courtyard cafe. Tea and coffee are included in the entry donation and you can buy a homemade cake. A portion of the entry donation goes to Trellis, a therapeutic gardening charity. Dogs on leads are welcome. Always a nice day out for all ages, New Victoria Gardens will once again open to the public on Saturday 15th August for their annual Open Day & Flower Show! The early 20th-century traditional back court space at Garrioch Crescent was redesigned in 1977 into a boundary-free communal space with the gardens nurtured by a group of residents. Come explore the community garden in Milton of Campsie, the creation of one man, covering roughly an acre of hillside beside the Glazert Water as part of Scotland’s Gardens!
