Children’s Art Classes – Explore, Create & Build Your Skills 🎨

Dates 8th, 15th, 22nd 29th October

Our children’s art classes are designed to encourage creativity, build confidence and introduce young artists to a wide range of materials, techniques, artists and styles.

Classes run in 4-week blocks, with each block exploring a different artistic theme or collection of techniques. Children will experiment, learn new skills and take inspiration from a variety of artists and artistic styles.

Throughout each 4-week block, children will work towards creating a finished piece of artwork, giving them the opportunity to develop an idea from initial exploration through to a completed final piece.

What will we explore?

Depending on the block, children may explore:

• ✏️ Graphite drawing & realism

• 🌈 Coloured pencil realism

• 🎨 Paint pouring

• 🖌️ Abstract painting

• 🖼️ Canvas building

• 👤 Portraiture

• 🖨️ Lino printing

• ✍️ Mark making & expressive techniques

• 💡 Light sourcing, shadows & highlights

• 🖍️ Alcohol marker illustration

• 🎭 Different artists, styles and creative approaches

Each block is an opportunity to discover something new while developing important artistic skills such as observation, colour theory, composition, shading, creativity and confidence.

Every child leaves with a finished artwork they can be proud of!

Whether your child already loves drawing and painting or is simply curious to explore their creative side, these classes provide a fun, supportive environment where there are no limits to imagination
