International Student new to Glasgow? Welcome!
Come join us for a visit to one of Scotland's most beautiful lochs!
We’ll take the train to Balloch (40 minutes) then have a walk by Loch Lomond in Balloch Country Park. Some snacks and drinks will be provided before we return. Meet at Partick Railway Station at 12.30pm. We will be back at Partick Station before 5pm. You will need to pay £7.30 for the return train fare (£4.85 with a railcard). Please wear good shoes for walking and bring a waterproof jacket in case it rains!
The event is hosted by local volunteers from West Glasgow New Church and is part of the International Welcome 2026, organised by Friends International Glasgow. It is a social event open to all international students in Glasgow. People of all faiths (and none) are welcome.

International Student new to Glasgow? Welcome!
Come join us for a visit to one of Scotland's most beautiful lochs!
