The Wellesley Woodland Family Fungi Walk will take place on 15 November 2026 at the Clay Cart Car Park in Aldershot. Participants will join Anna and Edwin to explore the world of fungi in the woodland.

Join Anna and Edwin to explore the fascinating world of fungi at Wellesley Woodland!

11am Meeting Point: Claycart car park off Fleet Road, nr Puckridge Barracks, just past the turning for Rushmoor Road, look out for the neon yellow bollards marking the car park entrance. (Google link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/HXXW9xdLzydhMDNi7 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/HXXW9xdLzydhMDNi7))

All are welcome on this leisurely, family friendly walk to explore the area around the Oak and Chestnut Trails (map below) in search of mushrooms, toadstools and other fabulous fungi.

No experience necessary.

The event is FREE but please book places so we know how many to expect.

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

This is not a foraging walk so we will not be picking any of the fungi we find.
