Connect Over A Cuppa is a monthly event for business owners and leaders who want to step away from the day-to-day, hear fresh perspectives and have better conversations about business.

Organised and hosted by Edward Ryder ofBiskit Ltd (https://www.biskit.co.uk), each session brings together business leaders, entrepreneurs and experts to share real experiences, practical ideas and, importantly, the lessons they've learned along the way.

Our speakers aren't there to tell you how to run your business. They're there to share what they've actually experienced, what worked, what didn't, the opportunities they spotted and the challenges they had to overcome.

Over almost 50 events, we've explored everything from leadership, strategy and team performance to marketing, sales, finance, technology, AI, innovation, psychology and business growth.

Our speakers have included people from major brands alongside entrepreneurs, engineers, psychologists, finance specialists, marketers, adventurers and leaders of successful smaller businesses.

Different people. Different businesses. Different perspectives.

But every event has the same purpose: to give business leaders new ideas, useful insights and time to think differently about their own organisations.

More than networking

Connect Over A Cuppa isn't traditional business networking.

There are no forced introductions and no expectation that you arrive with a sales pitch.

People come primarily to learn, meet interesting people and exchange ideas, and because of that, the networking happens naturally.

Each session creates opportunities to meet other like-minded business leaders, discover potential collaborations and hear about funding, innovation and new business opportunities.

Sometimes you'll leave with a completely new idea.

Sometimes it's a conversation with another attendee.

Sometimes a speaker simply makes you question something you've been doing for years.

That's the point.

Connect Over A Cuppa gives you two hours each month to step away from the day-to-day and think about what comes next.

Each month we welcome a different speaker and explore a different aspect of business, leadership or growth.

In September 2026, for example, we'll be joined by Jack Sunderland, founder and CEO of The Training Cave, sharing his journey from professional boxing to building a social enterprise focused on creating positive change for young people, families and communities.

The following month could take us somewhere completely different.

That's intentional.

Business success doesn't come from one discipline, one personality or one way of thinking.

It comes from staying curious and being willing to learn from other people's experiences.
