Saturday 21 November 2026 | 5.00pm Settle in for an atmospheric early-evening performance at Barnaby’s Lounge as guitarist David Cane-Hardy creates immersive soundscapes with sustained chords, harmonics, echo, reverb and delay. David took up the guitar following the passing of singer-songwriter John Martyn , whose influence continues to shape his distinctive approach. His music has received rave reviews from BanBan Ton Ton and radio support from Riley & Co on BBC6Music, Ruf Dug on Soup To Nuts NTS and Alex Rudder on KEXP. David has also recently worked with renowned music producer Chris Coco, releasing the album New Beginnings’ Last October , available on Bandcamp, Amazon Music, Spotify and Apple Music. Expect melodic pulses and spacious guitar textures that unfold into an ever-changing, deeply atmospheric soundscape—tranquil, absorbing and almost trance-like. Make a relaxed afternoon of it with New York-style pizza, small plates, dips and more, with food served from 12pm at Barnaby’s Lounge. Saturday 21 November | Music starts 5.00pm Admission: £6 music contribution Barnaby’s Lounge | 46 Robertson Street, Hastings Booking a table in advance is recommended. www.barnabyslounge.co.uk
