Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Hastings Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT in the main car park.
This tour explores the vital work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) through the lived experiences of the men and women commemorated here.
There are 176 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-18 war here, 2 being unidentified sailors of the Royal Navy. There are a further 69 burials of the 1939-45 war here. Those whose graves are not marked by headstones are named on a Screen Wall Memorial.
The tour lasts approx. 90 mins and covers about 2000 metres on paths and grass on uneven ground with slopes. Wheelchair access would be difficult.
Parking is available on-site. There are on-site facilities and toilets available put please bring water if required.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery.
Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can, but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
