Nature Tots is an outdoor learning session which provides a wonderful opportunity for your little ones to experience and learn from nature.

Nature Tots is an outdoor learning session for pre school children which provides a wonderful opportunity for your little ones to experience and learn from nature. Each week will explore different areas of the reserve including the Saltmarsh, Beach and Bird hide. The sessions will encourage independent learning and team working in the Natural World – all of which will help to boost communication skills, problem solving, physical development and creativity. These are child-led learning sessions with a Forest School ethos and will include a range of activities.

Age: Pre school 2 to 5 year olds with an accompanying adult

Price: £32 for 1 child for 4 sessions

Siblings are half price £16 for 4 sessions - add a Sibling ticket when booking.

Adults and babes in arms free of charge.

Dates: September 18th, September 25th, 2nd October and 9th October

Location: We will meet at the log circle in the outdoor education area on the right as you head towards the Discovery Centre .

Public transport: How to find us | Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. The 313 Stagecoach bus travels from Northiam to Rye train station and on to Rye Harbour village.

What to bring/wear: Please ensure yout Tots wear suitable outdoor clothing/footwear, and sun protection, for the weather conditions. A healthy snack for the children and a hot drink for the adults is provided, or Lime Kiln café at the Centre will be open from 9.30am for refreshments.

Accessibility: We will use accessible paths on the reserve and into the education room. Our toilet facilities will be available, if needed, at the beginning and end of your session.
