Join contemporary artist Liliana Dobbs for a unique, hands-on workshop exploring the fascinating process of making your own professional-quality acrylic paints from pure pigments before using your bespoke colours to create expressive abstract artworks.Whether you're an experienced artist or simply curious about colour, this immersive day offers a rare opportunity to deepen your understanding of materials while embracing a more intuitive and mindful approach to creativity.

Morning Session 10.30am - 12.30pm : The Art and Science of ColourBegin by exploring the origins of colour as Liliana demonstrates how individual pigments are transformed into vibrant acrylic paints. You'll learn about pigment characteristics, colour mixing, consistency and permanence before creating your own palette of handcrafted acrylic paints to take into the afternoon session.

Lunch break: 12.30pm - 2pm: An opportunity to relax and explore the beautiful grounds of the Hotel.

Afternoon Session 2pm - 3.30pm: Abstract ExplorationUsing the paints you've created, you'll experiment with colour, texture, movement and composition to produce a series of contemporary abstract works. Liliana will guide you through playful and intuitive techniques that encourage confidence, curiosity and personal expression, regardless of previous experience.

Immersive Sound Bath: 3.30pm to close: To conclude the day, you'll be invited to unwind with an immersive sound bath. This calming session offers space to reflect on your creative journey, restore balance and leave feeling inspired, refreshed and connected.
