Meet us on site at 11.30am. We will be working at Bowerdean Reservoir at the junction of Bowerdean Road and Rowan Avenue. The nearest postcode is HP13 6XS and on street parking is available. Please park considerately. Meet us at the entrance to the reservoir, W3W late.apron.lower or click here for a visual (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ejdbc3Mh5vhFPbT49). We will finish at approximately 2pm.

Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:

Join us to clear excess vegetation and clear the arisings to make way for wildflowers and hopefully butterflies too! There will also be litter to pick and we would love you to join us. No experience needed!

Timings (please note these timings are approximate):

11.30: Arrival on site for safety briefing, please don’t be late!

12.00: Lunch time, please bring your own. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits

14.00: Work finishes for the day, time to go home. Thanks for your support.

What to bring:

Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.

Long trousers are advisable as there is thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.

Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. You may need a hat and suncream if it's sunny.

Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.

Access: Bowerdean Reservoir is a flat site and accessible for all.

Please note:

Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.

Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
