Building Neurodivergent Community Support – Thames Valley ND Adults will discuss a new NHS pilot at Patch High Wycombe on 20 August 2026. The free event invites feedback on community support models.
In Conversation: Hear about the new NHS Thames Valley ICB Community Support Pilot, & share what great community support looks like for you
In conversation: building neurodivergent community support together
This month, we're doing things a little differently.
I'll be joined by Nick Hanson-James, the Senior Improvement Manager for the All-Age LD and Neurodivergence Programme from NHS Thames Valley Integrated Care Board, for an open and informal conversation about community, lived experience, and what meaningful support for neurodivergent adults could look like.
We'll spend some time talking about our respective journeys, how AuDacity came into being, how the new adult neurodivergence community support pilot was developed, and why both of us are so passionate about creating spaces where people feel understood, informed and connected.
Nick will then share a little more about the pilot itself, including:
What it is.
Who it is designed to support.
What support might look like in practice.
What sits within the scope of the project.
What falls outside the scope of the pilot, including some of the wider challenges that many people are currently experiencing.
We'll then move into facilitated table discussions to explore the support that people would genuinely find valuable within their own lives and communities.
Some of the questions we'll be exploring include:
What peer led support would make the greatest difference to your life?
What is currently missing?
What would help you feel more informed, connected and supported?
What would good community support look like?
What would you like professionals to know?
As always, this will be a welcoming, supportive, and judgement-free space. Whether you've been attending AuDacity sessions for months or are joining us for the first time, we'd love to see you there.
This isn't a lecture.
It isn't a presentation.
It's a conversation, and an opportunity to help shape what comes next.
See you there 🌻
