About This Event

The Kirkwood will host its annual Fire & Glass Walk on 24 October 2026, beginning at 4:30 PM. This community event offers participants the chance to confront their fears and navigate a series of challenging fire and glass obstacles barefoot. Registration is free, but there is a participation cost of £22.38 per person. The Fire & Glass Walk has become a beloved tradition among locals and adventurers alike, providing an exciting opportunity for fun and overcoming personal challenges within the community setting.

What happens on the day?

You will start the evening with a motivational briefing before you take on the Fire and Glass walk. Your friends and family are welcome to join you to cheer you on for this event but they will not be able to attend the briefing stage; instead they will be be able to relax in our support and therapy lounge with refreshments. (If you are bringing young children with you, please ensure that there is someone with you that will watch over the children whilst you're in the briefing).

For obvious reasons, we ask that our Fire and Glass walkers don't consume alcohol or take recreational drugs before the Fire and Glass walk. There will be time to celebrate with a glass or two after the event.
