Refresher training for trainers to update their knowledge and skills in delivering safe, effective Moving People Safely training.

This Train the Trainer – Moving People Safely Refresher Update provides an opportunity for trainers to refresh and update their knowledge, skills and practice in line with current requirements and workplace needs.

The course includes a review of your own service policies and procedures, a legislation recap, and updates relating to CQC inspections and developing a positive safety culture. It covers risk assessment and management, additional considerations when supporting bariatric clients, and a review of LOLER requirements. Participants will also revisit the prevention and management of slips, trips and falls, alongside safe wheelchair use and practical guidance for getting clients safely in and out of vehicles.

On completion, trainers will have refreshed their knowledge and confidence to deliver safe, effective and up-to-date Moving People Safely training within their organisation.
