Join us at the Thackray Museum for an engaging free to attend event & workshop exploring the challenges of pressure ulcer litigation.
Hear from the experts and get your questions answered during the morning presentations where the following topics will be covered:
The Science of Surfaces | Understanding therapeutic support surfaces and key considerations when choosing a surface.
Coroner’s Court Preparation | Preparing clinicians attending coroner’s courts to provide evidence.
Coroner’s Court Experience | What is a coroner’s court experience like for a clinician?
After lunch, there will be a live mock-up of a coroner’s court, to experience first-hand what it would be like to attend and give evidence. This is a great opportunity for clinicians to experience the atmosphere of a coroner’s court in a less stressful environment.
We are very excited to introduce our brilliant speakers:
Rachel Apsey, Group Chief Executive and Registered Nurse, Medstrom
Sarah Jones, Paediatric Tissue Viability Nurse, Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust
Alison Parnham, BSc (Hons), MSc Health and Social Care - Clinical Nurse Specialist in Tissue Viability.
Please note:
The event allows attendees to gain 5 hours CPD-certified towards revalidation.
Delegate spaces are limited to 2-3 individuals per Trust.
