Russell is the founder of the Northern Estate Agencies Group which he recently exited following its acquisition last year by Private Equity backed LRG. NEA, included one of West Yorkshire best known Estate Agency brands Manning Stainton. He was awarded an MBE in this years Kings Birthday Honours List for services to the both the Jewish Community and Charity in the region.

Russell will share his entrepreneurial journey and the story behind one of Yorkshire’s best known businesses.

In an informal interview style format, Russell will share insights into starting and growing from one office in Leeds City Centre in 1976 to 40 Branches and into one of the the top 10 Independent Agency businesses in the UK, talking about the decisions and challenges that shaped the business, and the lessons he has learned along the way.
