BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC): What Is It and Why

Is your smart building secure?

BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC): What Is It and Why Does It Matter?

Building systems are more connected than ever. That brings enormous potential for smarter operation, but it also raises a question: how do we keep the communications behind those systems secure?

Join ASHRAE UK Chapter and CIBSE East Midlands for a hybrid technical talk with Jonathan Smith P.E. Jonathan will introduce BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC), explain how it differs from BACnet/IP, and explore how encrypted communications and modern IT standards can help protect building automation systems.

Whether you design, specify, commission or operate building controls, this is an opportunity to get to grips with a topic that is becoming increasingly relevant across our industry.
