Join us to Shape the vision for high-quality provision across Leicestershire's Inclusion Bases

Purpose of the event

This event will bring together colleagues working across Leicestershire's Inclusion Bases to:

Share the latest national developments relating to SEND reform and Inclusion Bases.

Build upon the learning already gathered through pilot work, training, surveys and base visits.

Develop a shared understanding of what high-quality Inclusion Base provision should look like across Leicestershire.

Identify existing strengths, expertise and resources across the system.

Explore priorities, gaps and future aspirations.

Strengthen collaboration and networking between settings and partner agencies.

Ensure future support, guidance and development are co-produced with practitioners and stakeholders.

Consider how we will embed the voices of children, young people and families in future developments.

The primary audience will be leaders of existing Inclusion Bases and colleagues with day-to-day responsibility for delivering provision. Additional invitations are proposed for:

SEND Hub representatives.

Educational Psychology representatives.

Specialist Teaching Service representatives.

Parent Carer Forum representatives.

Health colleagues, including Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy representatives.

Key local authority colleagues involved in Inclusion Base development.
