CPD with Professor John Edwards, MA, DipBldgCons, CEnv, FCIOB, FRICS and IHBC East Midlands AGM
The UK is committed to net zero by 2050. Historic, listed and traditionally constructed buildings present amazing opportunities to reduce energy use and take advantage of their low embodied carbon. But these buildings can be vulnerable to inappropriate retrofit measures.
In the worst cases these can lead to the deterioration of the building’s structure and fabric, increasing heat loss through damp, mould and decay.
This invaluable and timely training course highlights the issues and covers the most recent government and Historic England guidance, including the new editions of PAS 2030 and PAS 2035, which give updated guidance for traditional and protected buildings.
