A free sculpt ceramics workshop where you can make what you want with support from facilitators - all pieces fired in a kiln.

Join us on Sunday the 27th September at The Bookbinder 5pm until 8pm - for a free sculpt Ceramics Workshop.

Tickets are £35 - which includes the clay., materials, a bisque fire of final work and a £5 drink voucher

There will be an optional fee on the night to add a glaze firing +£10pp or to paint and glaze +20pp, with a seperate date added in a week or so time to accommodate a painting session.

We ask for attendants to provide a contact method on the night to liase collection of finished pieces.

This workshop format is a different approach to traditional ceramic workshops, where participants are encouraged to express their creativity by making what they want to and steering away from a set curriculum.

In this open studio, free sculpt style session we will begin by giving a short introduction into ceramics based clay. Going through basic hand building techniques so that you have an understanding on how to start your sculptures.

Then over the course of three hours, experienced facilitators will be on hand to guide you through how to create your individual sculptue. Whether its a mug, a decorative sculpture or something else, you will be informed and supported to materialise your vision.
