Summary
Join the National Sikh Police Association UK for a sponsored hike up Mount Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa via the Llanberis Path, raising funds to support our national work, community engagement, wellbeing activity and Sikh representation across policing.
Main description
The National Sikh Police Association UK is organising a sponsored hike up Mount Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa on Saturday 5th September 2026.
This will be a positive, inclusive and supportive fundraising event, bringing together colleagues, friends, family members and supporters to raise money for NSPAUK.
We will be walking the Llanberis Path, which is one of the most popular routes up Snowdon. It is still a challenging mountain walk, so participants should have a reasonable level of fitness and be prepared for changing weather conditions.
Funds raised will support the National Sikh Police Association UK in continuing its work around representation, community engagement, wellbeing, education, national events and support for Sikh officers, staff and communities across policing.
We also host Sikh guard, a national reporting platform for hate crimes against the Sikh community. Our work also extends to creating awareness about hate crimes against Sikhs.
We will meet at the Snowdon Mountain Railway Shop between 7.30am and 8am, and will aim to set off for 8am. The postcode is LL55 4TU.
