Join Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, for the second Mayor’s Question Time event, this time taking place in Wirral.

This event offers an open forum for residents from across the region to engage directly with the Mayor, ask questions and be part of the conversation about the future of their communities.

Attendees are welcome to ask about any topic that falls within the Mayor’s powers and responsibilities. Read more about the Mayor’s responsibilities.

The event will take place at an accessible venue in Birkenhead, with full venue details shared with attendees ahead of the event. Located close to Hamilton Square station and key bus links, the venue is easily accessible for residents travelling from across the Liverpool City Region.

Doors open at 6:30pm, with the session running from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

Questions on the night will be facilitated by broadcaster Lucy Meacock.

Questions must be submitted by 3pm on Friday 18 September for consideration as part of the event programme. Registration will remain open after this deadline, and attendees may have the opportunity to ask questions during the live Q&A session; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

Registration is only required if you intend to attend in-person. If you are unable to join us, the event will be streamed live so you can still watch on from home. Please check out the Liverpool City Region social media channels for more information.

All attendees will be required to present photo ID on entry and bags will be subject to a security search. These checks are in place to help keep everyone safe and prevent restricted items from being brought into the venue.

The Mayor’s Question Time will take place in different venues across different boroughs throughout the year, bringing future events closer to local communities across the Liverpool City Region. All events are open to residents of all boroughs.
