Nature for HEART is a series of events and activities designed to get more and more people active on Rimrose Valley, connecting with each other and the park’s nature.
Coordination of this project has funded by the National Lottery’s Awards for All programme and the PH Holt Foundation.
Details:
Join Taco for the final instalment in our series of community walks around Rimrose Valley celebrating the changing of the seasons and the Wheel of the Year, as we leave summer behind and reach the Autumn Equinox.
Taco has been working with the Wheel of the Year for the last 10 years and believes it can help people to have a better understanding of themselves as well as the natural world that we are all a part of.
Each walk will explore a different section of Rimrose Valley corresponding to the Wheel's four directions and aims to connect people more deeply to the cycles of nature and cultivate community.
The walks have a specific theme and include activities related to each of the Wheel of the Year celebrations.
This walk's theme: A time of balance when day and night are again equal. It is a celebration of the harvest and an opportunity to express gratitude.
Key concepts: Balance, gratitude, harvest, completion, and reflection on the past season's growth.
Walking route: From the North Entrance to the East Entrance, to the Centre and back to the North Entrance
