Stretch your legs, meet some new people, and spot our marvellous wildlife living along our historic canal network and wilder spaces.
For beginner and expert bird spotters alike, this is for anyone who wishes to connect with the nature living right in the heart of the city.
Starting in busy Camden, we'll move east along the Regent's Canal towpath to St.Pancras, before crossing the water for a visit to Camley Street Natural Park, where the walk will end.
These are casual walks, open to all adults wanting to learn, share and enjoy our wildlife. Our Walk Leader can introduce the species and habitats, those bringing knowledge with them are welcome to share!
The canal is usually alive with our common water birds such as coot, moorhen, geese and cormorant. The Natural Park is known to host blackcap, dunnock, kingfisher and sparrowhawk!
It's helpful if you can bring your own binoculars, but we can provide pocket binos to anyone without any. Otherwise just wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
