How does your home tell the story of what you want your life to be everyday? Join RIBA Learning and Deaf Architect and Educator, Chris Laing, for a drop-in workshop of creative architectural design and making. We will take inspiration from the RIBA collections and our recently published children's book, ‘My Book of Awesome Homes’. Looking at different homes from around the world, we'll ask: what materials are they built with? What do they look like? How are the rooms arranged? Are they open plan, multi-storey, modern or traditional? Then you will get the change to design and model your very own fantastical mini house to take home with you. Where would you live in your wildest dreams and what would that look like?
