About Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre, Aldwych, London, is the West End musical built around ABBA’s timeless songs. Since premiering in London’s West End over 25 years ago, it has been seen by more than 70 million people worldwide.

The show tells the story of a mother, a daughter and three possible fathers on a Greek island, with the action driven by ABBA’s music. It has also been adapted into two record-breaking films, Mamma Mia! and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

Described by Classic FM as “the ultimate feel-good show”, Mamma Mia! remains a long-running musical that combines a familiar story with songs many audiences already know.

Key facts: running time 2 hours 35 minutes including one interval; performances Monday to Saturday at 7.45pm, with Thursday and Saturday matinees at 3.00pm.

Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by, and sit next to, a ticketholder aged 18 or over. Children under 3 are not admitted.

The production contains flashing lights. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase.
