About Nutcracker

Nutcracker at the London Coliseum follows Clara on a fantastical journey through Edwardian London, beginning with a visit to Drosselmeyer’s Sweets & Delights Emporium and ending in the Land of Sweets & Delights. English National Ballet’s production brings the story to life with over 100 dancers and musicians, as Clara moves from a Christmas party and battle with the Rat King to an ice realm and the Sugar Plum Fairy’s celebration.

Choreographed by Artistic Director Aaron S. Watkin and Olivier Award-winner Arielle Smith, this production features sets and costumes designed by Dick Bird. English National Ballet Philharmonic perform Tchaikovsky’s score live, and the production has been described as “Vibrant” by the Financial Times and “astoundingly pretty” by The London Standard.
