About Nutcracker

Nutcracker at the London Coliseum is English National Ballet’s festive production of Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet. Set in Edwardian London, it follows Clara from Drosselmeyer’s Sweets & Delights Emporium into a journey that includes a Christmas party, a battle with the Rat King, an ice realm and the Land of Sweets & Delights.

The production features over 100 dancers and musicians, with choreography by Artistic Director Aaron S. Watkin and Olivier Award-winner Arielle Smith. English National Ballet Philharmonic perform Tchaikovsky’s score live, and the sets and costumes are designed by Dick Bird.

Returning to the London Coliseum, English National Ballet’s production has been described as “Vibrant” by the Financial Times and “astoundingly pretty” by The London Standard.
