"Rough Magic" fireside story telling for adults to celebrate the Autumn Equinox
For those that have been before- these will be all new stories I havent told before!
Come join storyteller Bernadette Russell at Lesnes Abbey Lodge for one of her regular sell out seasonal celebrations - a magical evening of fireside storytelling and celebrations of the Autumn Equinox for adults.
"I'll be telling some of our oldest folk and fairytales full of magic, mischief, wisdom and wonder around a roaring fire amongst the ancient trees of this beautiful wood. There'll be lots of time to chat, opportunities to join in with the story if you'd like to (with no obligation to do so!), we'll co-create a shrine to the season, weave some magic together, and celebrate the melancholy, beauty and abundance of autumn! I promise you will leave the woods revived, refereshed and enchanted . Here we have made a place of refuge and safety, where EVERYONE is welcomed as they are, a place to celebrate everything this is still beautiful and enchanting about our world- our home- so that we can return to our every day lives stronger and full of hope. Also, it'll be funny. and fun. and friendly"
Meet me at the Chesnut Kiosk at 6.30pm (18.30) and we will walk down together to The Clearing (Lesnes outdoor learning space) where a roaring fire will be there to welcome you, ready to start with stories at 7pm (19. 00)
