We’re getting together at the famous St Pancras station in London to kick off a walking tour that’s all about street photography, architectural photography, and anything else that catches your eye. Please be there by 10:45 so we can start at 11:00 on Sunday, 20th September. We'll be meeting outside Marks and Spencer, close to the escalators to platforms 11 and 12. Here’s what we’re planning to do: First, we’ll spend about 30 minutes exploring the station itself—it’s packed with spots that are perfect for photos. Then, we’ll stroll over to the Central Saint Martin School of Art and Design, snapping photos of the canals and the area that’s been revamped. Next, we’ll head to Russell Square, passing by the Fitz Hotel. We’ll then make our way towards the British Museum, and if the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll head inside. We’ll also stop by Bloomsbury. Finally, we’ll walk down to Covent Garden, where we can pop into the Artists Church and enjoy the market itself. We can then make our way back to St Pancras, but there are lots more attractions close by if you want to continue. To get the best shots, we suggest using a wide-angle lens and maybe one other mid-range lens. Keep it light, but if you’re interested in long exposures, a tripod will be a must.
