Injury to Independence
Back by popular demand following our successful event in Southampton.
Injury to Independence brings together professionals from across health, legal and care sectors to explore how we can work better together to support people following a complex injury.
Recovering from a life-changing injury is rarely linear. It requires joined-up thinking, shared understanding and genuine collaboration between case managers, legal professionals, clinical teams and care providers — with the individual always at the centre. This event creates space for honest discussion, shared learning and practical insight into how multidisciplinary teams can improve outcomes and promote long-term independence.
The programme will feature talks and panel discussions from experienced Case Managers, Legal Professionals and Clinical Teams, alongside powerful lived-experience perspectives from people living with complex injuries. Together, we’ll examine what effective collaboration looks like in practice, where systems can fall short, and how professionals can better align around rehabilitation, independence and quality of life.
Injury to Independence is hosted by Agincare, a national, independent care provider founded in Dorset in 1986. Family-owned and clinically led, Agincare is one of the largest independent care providers in England, with 40 years of experience delivering specialist, complex care and supporting people to live as independently as possible.
This event is ideal for professionals involved in complex injury rehabilitation who want to strengthen partnerships, deepen understanding and improve outcomes for the people they support.
