About Sinatra The Musical

Sinatra The Musical at the Aldwych Theatre brings Frank Sinatra’s story to the West End, from a creative team including two-time Tony Award-winning writer Joe DiPietro and Olivier Award-winning, three-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall. The show begins on New Year’s Eve 1942, when a 27-year-old Italian-American singer steps on stage at New York City’s Paramount Theatre and gives the performance that changes music history.

The musical follows Sinatra as his voice makes him a star and his personal life becomes more complicated. His marriage to Nancy and his relationship with Ava Gardner are part of the story, alongside the scandal and press pressure that push his career into a tailspin.

Featuring more than twenty classic songs, the score includes “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”.
