About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow at the Phoenix Theatre is set in Hawkins, 1959, before the events of Stranger Things. It follows young Jim Hopper, Bob Newby, Joyce Maldonado and new student Henry Creel as everyday life in town starts to shift and the past reaches further than expected.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, the production uses theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to tell a new chapter in the Stranger Things story. It returns to the beginning of the timeline rather than retelling the television series.

Duration: Approx 3 hrs including an interval.
