Join us for a free, small-group visit to the Tate & Lyle Sugars museum and archives in Silvertown. This visit follows Part 6 of 7 of Bittersweet: Legacies of Sugar (the Sugar Trail walk).
You are welcome to book this visit whether or not you attend the walk, but booking is essential due to site capacity and security requirements.Important information for attendees (please read before booking).
This is an operational site with strict security, health and safety, and food safety rules.Capacity and sign-in:
Maximum 20 attendees (plus NACHRG team members).
Names are required in advance. Please book using the name shown on your photo ID.
You will enter via the security hub (a different entrance from previous visits).
Please bring a form of ID.
Please do not bring bags larger than a handbag or small rucksack.
Food safety
Absolutely no nuts are allowed on site or in vehicles.
Dress and personal items
Wear trousers and a long-sleeved top (no skirts, dresses, shorts, or T-shirts).
No nail varnish.
No jewellery aside from a plain wedding band.
No piercings.
No heavy make-up.
Travel
