About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre in London is the first theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games and Lionsgate’s motion picture. Arriving in London in 2025, it follows Katniss Everdeen as she defies the odds in a story that combines courage, hope and survival.

The production is created by an award-winning team, with playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster bringing the story to the stage. It presents the world of Panem in a live theatre setting, with the original narrative adapted for the stage.

This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, plus references to death, grief and guilt.

Running time: Act 1 1 hour 07 mins, interval 20 mins, Act 2 1 hour 08 mins.
