About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre is the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion picture, arriving in London in 2025. The production is staged in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art venue.

An award-winning creative team, including playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster, brings the story of Katniss Everdeen to the stage. The show follows her journey through Panem as she defies the odds in a story of courage, hope and survival.

Running time: Act 1 1 hour 07 mins, interval 20 mins, Act 2 1 hour 08 mins.

Before you book

This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, and references to death, grief and guilt. A useful guide is whether you and your party are comfortable with the content level of The Hunger Games films. We recommend 12+. Under 3s are not permitted. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
