About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre is the first theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion picture. Opening in London in 2025, it follows Katniss Everdeen as she defies the odds in the story of The Hunger Games.

The production is created by an award-winning team including playwright Conor McPherson (Girl from the North Country, The Weir) and director Matthew Dunster (2:22 A Ghost Story, Hangmen, The Pillowman).

Running time: Act 1 1 hour 07 mins, interval 20 mins, Act 2 1 hour 08 mins.

Before you book

This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, and references to death, grief and guilt.

No under 3s are permitted. A good guide is to check whether you and your party are comfortable with the level of content in The Hunger Games films; the recommended age is 12+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
