About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre in London is the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion picture. The production brings the story of Katniss Everdeen to the stage in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art venue.

Created by award-winning playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster, the show follows Katniss as she defies the odds in a story centred on courage, hope and human spirit. It is presented as the premiere stage version of The Hunger Games story.

Running time: Act 1 is 1 hour 07 minutes, the interval is 20 minutes, and Act 2 is 1 hour 08 minutes.

Before you book

This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, and references to death, grief and guilt. The stated guide is 12+; under 3s are not permitted, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
