About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage is at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre in London. It is the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion picture, bringing the story of Katniss Everdeen to the stage in 2025.

An award-winning creative team is behind the production, including playwright Conor McPherson, whose work includes Girl from the North Country and The Weir, and director Matthew Dunster, whose credits include 2:22 A Ghost Story, Hangmen and The Pillowman. The story follows Katniss as she defies the odds in Panem.

Running time: Act 1: 1 hour 07 mins, interval: 20 mins, Act 2: 1 hour 08 mins.

Before you book

This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, with references to death, grief and guilt. A good guide is to check whether you and your party are comfortable with the level of content within The Hunger Games films. The recommended age is 12+. Under 3s are not permitted.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
